General Usage

• Browse stations via the Stations List or the map on the Homepage
• Filter and search stations by name or region
• View detailed information about each station, including its location and feed entries
• Contact site administrators via the Contact Page

Station Registration

To register a new bird-watching station:

1. Click the "Register Station" button on the homepage
2. Fill out the registration form with station details, location, and contact information
3. Submit the form and wait for admin approval
4. Once approved, you'll receive an Admin Code via email
5. Use this code to manage your station and rotate guest codes

Using Station Codes

Posting Feed Entries

1. Navigate to the station's detail page
2. Click the "Post Entry" button
3. Enter your guest code (or admin code if you're an admin)
4. Provide your name and content for the entry
5. Submit the form to add your entry to the station feed

Station Management

For station administrators:

• Access admin features by providing your admin code on the station detail page
• View usage statistics for guest codes
• Rotate guest codes periodically for security
• Share guest codes with trusted visitors to allow them to post entries

Best Practices

• Rotate guest codes regularly for security
• Keep your admin code private and secure
• Provide accurate and helpful information in feed entries
• Include images when relevant to enhance your observations
• Respect nature and wildlife when visiting stations
• Follow any local regulations or guidelines for bird-watching
